Best overall villa with private pool
My top pick is classically styled, well located, and has the flexibility to serve as a family holiday, friend get-together, or even a bohemian wedding.
Villa Can Rafal
This delightfully decorated eight (8) bedroom villa in Santa Eulalia des Riu is a short 15-minute drive from Ibiza town. The property sits on a sprawling landscaped garden of 10 acres, complete with a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and entertainment outhouse.
The bedrooms are all en-suite and can be arranged as either a large double bed or spacious twin singles layout. Thereby comfortably accommodating up to 16 people with housekeeping included, ensuring you lay down in crisp sheets each night.
Aesthetically the villa is stunning with its fusion of chic Ibizan style and open-plan living. The amenities are all ultra-modern, and the kitchen is fully equipped. There a two (2) interior dining areas and another two (2) alfresco style.
When you want to explore the island, you have Babylon Beach nearby and the resort town of Santa Eulalia. In addition, the Las Dalias hippy market, which takes place from Saturday through Tuesday, is 15-minutes by car.
Best villa with private pool for large groups
For large groups of 20+ people, Villa Sol will ensure everyone has a proper bed and nobody ends up sleeping on a sofa couch.
This villa is a stone’s throw (5-minutes) from Ibiza airport and conveniently located near the popular beaches of Es Codolar and Playa de Ses Salines.
There are eleven (11) air-conditioned bedrooms split into either double (6) or twin (5) beds. The property can accommodate up to twenty-two (22) guests, and all of these modern and comfortable rooms have en-suite bathrooms.
However, the main draw of Villa Sol is the raised outside swimming pool area. Complete with sun loungers, parasols, a large gazebo, and an alfresco dining area that overlooks the sprawling terraced garden. The view extends out over the tennis court, which doubles as a football pitch, and beyond into the valley below.
Although the somewhat dated decor is evident, the open-plan living makes this a fantastic villa for large extended families or friend trips. The fully fitted kitchen is more than capable of handling a large group.
Best villa with private pool for small groups
Small groups of six (6) or less should look no further than the stunning Casa Maravilla in Es Cubells.
The affluent area of Es Cubells is sought after for its breathtaking views out over the glistening Mediterranean waters below the high cliffs. And having a first-line ocean vista in Es Cubells is a rare find.
Casa Maravilla is a secluded three (3) bedroom villa in a securely gated community that offers such a view. The elegantly designed wooden outside decks make great use of the space and ensure you are constantly taking in the magical views through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows.
The infinity swimming pool is set into the outdoor timber floored decking area, which also features plenty of shaded seating (perfect for reading), sun loungers, and an alfresco dining area complete with a BBQ grill.
But perhaps the piece-de-resistance is the timber gazebo at the bottom of the garden perched on the cliff’s edge. Here you have a breathtaking and unobstructed view of the sea below. It is the perfect little hideout to relax and unwind on your Balearic retreat.
Best luxury villa with private pool
This luxury villa is the most expensive to feature here, and the neutral colour scheme and open-plan living will suit pretty much any taste preference.
Perched high up in the west-facing cliffs of Punta de Sa Creu lies the ultra decadent Casa Magazen. This opulent villa features jaw-dropping views of the sunset directly over the ocean. The property’s layout has been carefully planned to give you optimum privacy from neighbours while never blocking the view.
There are five (5) luxury en-suite bedrooms with queen-sized mattresses. The exception is the master, which is king-sized and has the most sublime oceanfront view. All the bedrooms have air conditioning and every modern amenity you desire.
The outdoor elements are equally as impressive, comprising lush and expertly landscaped gardens, outside dining areas and a boule court. The swimming pool is generous and surrounded by comfortable seating areas and sun loungers. The rooftop terrace is a large sun-soaked area with additional bathing and lounging spaces.
Casa Magazen offers a friendly staff team ready to assist you in any way. From airport transfers to babysitters and even private chefs.
Best budget villa with a pool
Not all villas in Ibiza are expensive, and if you book outside of peak season, you can find some more affordable deals.
A classical-style Spanish villa with wooden beamed ceilings, thick stone walls and tiled floors that help regulate the heat in the summer months. Villa Jengibre is a short drive from the popular beachside resort of Santa Eulalia.
The villa comprises three (3) bedrooms that sleep up to six (6) people. There is a double bed in the master and the second bedroom, and both are en-suite. The third bedroom features twin beds.
Outdoor areas are generous, and as a guest, you’ll be treated to incredible views of expansive countryside and the ocean beyond Santa Eulalia. The terrace offers plenty of comfortable seating for you to lounge on. At the same time, the swimming pool invites you with its stunning backdrop. In addition, there are ample sun loungers and parasols positioned around the pool.
The location is fantastic if you like to make day trips and explore the island during your trip. Las Dalias market is nearby, and beautiful white sand beaches like Cala Nova are only a short drive away.
Best villa with private pool in San Antonio Bay
San Antonio is famous for its sunset culture, and several villa options offer sublime views. Villa Sa Rota is the best of these.
Villa Sa Rota San Antonio
This modern villa is neutrally decorated and has a cleverly thought out open-plan layout, making it arguably one of the best value-for-money villas in Ibiza. The sunset-facing views from the terrace will leave a lasting impression guaranteed.
The building comprises a one-bedroom and a three-bedroom apartment combined into four (4). All are en-suite and have large sliding glass doors that let you take in the view with a morning cup of coffee in bed.
The infinity pool offers gorgeous sea views over San Antonio Bay and the azure Mediterranean. In addition, there is an infinity swimming pool with a smaller heated pool (jacuzzi) to the side.
Both apartments have a well-equipped kitchen, so you can always have a meal together in a new section of the villa. Add the BBQ area, and you have the perfect estate for entertaining.
Being close to San Antonio has its perks. Ibiza is known as a party island, and San Antonio offers great nightlife. There is also an abundance of beautiful beaches close by, so the choices are endless.

Best villa with private pool in Ibiza Town
Finding a spacious villa in Ibiza Town can be a tricky task. You also want a property that makes you feel the Ibiza spirit. Villa Corona ticks all the boxes.
Magical views of Dalt Vila. Check—classic bohemian-chic Ibiza living. Check. Villa Corona is set just outside the Old Town of Ibiza, so it’s close to the action. With a classic Balearic feel of white walls and blue shutters, it’s perfect for groups of friends.
Six (6) bedrooms are spread over two floors and a bungalow. In total, the property can sleep eleven (11), and all the bedrooms have their own bathroom.
A sundrenched pool area is surrounded by chaise longer and parasols. In contrast, the outer section of the pool courtyard is shaded by a terracotta roof with ample dining, lounging and seating areas.
Being this close to Old Town has its advantages, and for the night owls, there are nightclubs like Pacha, Lio, Destino and Club Chinois close by. For lazy beach days, look no further than Talamanca beach, which has many great beachfront restaurants to try.
Best villa with private pool in Es Cubells
To stand out in Es Cubells, you need to offer something unique. How about two (2) swimming pools? Villa Vista has you covered!
Covering 600m2 split over multiple levels with stunning sea views, Villa Vista has impressive entertainment amenities which would suit large groups and families.
With a total of six (6) en-suite bedrooms with air conditioning, the property sleeps a total of twelve (12) guests. The spacious bedrooms feature ample closet space and smooth polished concrete floors.
Without a doubt, it’s the two swimming pools that make this the best holiday villa in Es Cubells. The first is an infinity pool (with an unobstructed sunset view) on the upper tier, and the other is a large ground floor pool long enough to swim laps. Throw in the jacuzzi for good measure, and you have plenty of decisions about where to sip your pina colada.
Villa Vista sits on the beautiful Porroig peninsula, known for its striking turquoise water in the bay and wonderful beachfront restaurants.
Best villa with private pool in Santa Eulalia
Villa Algarroba has unobstructed ocean views and direct shore access from the bottom of the garden.
A wonderfully put-together property right on the water’s edge and within walking distance of several beach clubs (Nikki Beach and Pura Vida) and restaurants. The town of Santa Eulalia is a short 5-minute drive away.
Four (4) air-conditioned bedrooms are split over two floors. The master is upstairs and features a bathtub with a stunning sea view. The other three are on the ground floor.
Outdoors there is ample room for sunbathing and lounging around. The swimming pool will lure you in with its infinite edge and a majestic view over the Mediterranean. There is also direct access to the shore from the garden and a freshwater shower to rinse the salt away when you return for lunch.
Speaking of lunch, the outside dining area is well shaded with a BBQ area just behind it. The open-plan interior has a fantastic kitchen with a breakfast bar. Also included are three (3) days of housekeeping per week.
Best pool overall with a private villa
Yes, you do read that heading correctly. Here is the best pool of all the Ibiza villas and luxury houses the White Isle offers.
Villa Blue Star
Villa Blue Star checks so many boxes. I haven’t tipped it to be the best overall because Villa Can Rafal beats it (only slightly) on versatility and price.
Let’s begin by talking about the swimming pool, though. Just look at how its infinite edge extends out over the edge of the garden and seems to float in mid-air. And if that wasn’t enough, the view behind it is impressive.
The design has so many quintessentially Ibizan touches from the built-in couches and exposed wooden beams to the stunning bougainvillaea on the verandah. This modern villa is artistic Bohemian living at its finest.
It can accommodate up to twelve (12) people in its six (6) air-conditioned bedrooms. They are all en-suite, making it ideal for friends and families alike.
Things to consider before booking the ideal villa
Before spending considerable money on a holiday villa in Ibiza, consider the following.
Peak season, high season and the low season
Prices will invariably be highest from June through the end of August. This is when Ibiza is in its peak tourist season, and property owners charge in line with demand. If you’d like a better deal, consider booking outside of peak and high season. Early May and late October are still great weather-wise and offer better value for money.
Finding out you have booked a villa in rural Ibiza once you have arrived isn’t exactly ideal. Sure, you can still get around, but you would rather have supermarkets and other conveniences close by to limit the time you spend doing these tasks. Alternatively, look for a villa that offers a concierge service and simply relax knowing it’s taken care of.
How we decide the best
Knowing the island well is key to making sound recommendations. Here are all the qualities we look for when choosing the best for this list.
The best in some cases is not always the most expensive. We look for value for money, and a beautiful villa rental doesn’t need to cost a fortune. This list includes a wide variety of booking prices; even the expensive ones are reasonable if shared among a large group. Rest assured, all of these options are great choices.
Having things like wonderful beaches nearby factors into these recommendations. Many of the properties are either beachfront or first line on the coast. Additionally, there should be a good selection of extra activities to partake in away from the villa. Think good nightlife, beach clubs and quality restaurant dining.
Do the properties go above and beyond to cater to all guests? We look at whether there are things like barriers around roof terraces and raised-level swimming pools for increased safety. Are the pathways around the gardens well kept and clear. In addition, there needs to be air conditioning as a minimum and of course, in this case, a fantastic swimming pool.
There is an almost endless choice regarding holiday villa rentals in Ibiza. But if you haven’t visited the island before, or even if you have but have not stayed in a villa, then the sheer number of choices can seem daunting.
After reading this list, you now know where the best areas for villas are and the best for large and small groups.
Finding well-maintained villas with a straightforward booking experience and then brilliant customer service during your stay is something that villa-finder.com does exceptionally well. I highly recommend them for booking your Ibiza villa accommodation.
