Traditionally set within the historic walled fort sitting atop the hill overlooking the town of Tossa de Mar on the Costa Brava. This year’s edition will be slightly different due to maintenance on the ancient site.
Fort festival 2020 will feature a beach stage and another stage on the ascent up to the fort. So this edition will indeed be a unique one-off experience for those that attend.
What has not changed is their commitment to creating an intimate gathering featuring some of the best names within the techno and house music genres.
Tossa de Mar is located within an hour and a half drive from Barcelona, making it easily accessible from most major European cities. The coastal route is wonderfully scenic and definitely worth your while should you decide it deserves a longer drive.
Girona airport is 40km from Tossa de Mar. Barcelona is 80km away with many European connections.
Restrictions on travellers from outside the European Union and the Schengen free-travel area will be lifted from 1 July, providing the countries they depart from have agreements with Spain.
All passengers arriving by air or sea must undergo a temperature check. All travelers must fill in a public health form, online at www.spth.gob.es. After completing the form, passengers will obtain a QR code which they must present on arrival in Spain.
