International Music Summit

Overview.

The International Music Summit is both a festival and conference for music fans and professionals. The event signals the beginning of the summer season on the island of Ibiza.

IMS was initially founded in 2007 by the legendary Pete Tong as a platform to inspire a collective thought process to move the electronic music scene into the future.

Now the festival spans 3 days of keynotes, panel discussions, night programming and culminates in the closing party within the magical walls of Dalt Vila.

The International Music Summit Venue.

Daytime programming is at the stunning Destino Resort on Talamanca Beach. It provides an incredible setting for the conference to take place. While the world-renowned Ibiza clubs, such as Pacha and Amnesia, host many unofficial night-time parties during IMS.

The UNESCO world heritage Dalt Vila above the old town is the backdrop for the closing party. The IMS Dalt Vila finale is a one-of-a-kind, open-air event that unites the electronic music industry and its fans for a night of incredible music.

Travel by air

Ibiza international airport is well connected with the rest of Europe. There are regular flights between mainland Spain, Germany and the UK.

The transfer from the airport to the venue is 15 minutes by taxi (13km/8 miles).
